![]() ![]() Do you really think even the possibility of a quality game on a mobile phone cannot exist? If so, I really question your imagination. Just because someone hasn’t done something yet doesn’t mean it’s impossible. That was followed shortly by Halo on the XBox, and then Call of Duty came and nobody’s questioned it since. They kept trying and failing to get a decent control scheme, until finally somebody made one that worked - Goldeneye on N64. Console FPS games were once shitty too, and nobody believed they could work either. ![]() It boggles my mind that there are gamers who immediately assume that they know exactly what Blizzard is going to do with Diablo Immortal, and exactly how it will play because they’ve played some shitty mobile games in the past. One thing they do not do is cheap cash grabs that hurt their brands. ![]() This has been ingrained in their executive management from the beginning. Their pedigree is unquestioned. Blizzard has always been a company that focuses on its brands. They’ve been at it for longer than many gamers have been alive. Blizzard is a AAA developer of the highest caliber, a unicorn in the industry that never shirks on quality and polish in its titles, recognizes its problems and works to fix them (eventually), and is and has been relentlessly dedicated to their player base and products. Gamers are some of the most conservative and recalcitrant people I’ve ever come across. ![]()
